Safaga
Eine Hafenstadt, die arbeitet, 53 km südlich von Hurghada — Phosphatfrachter, Wind der Weltklasse und Preise, die noch niemand für Touristen umgeschrieben hat.

El Quseir
Eine wirklich alte Hafenstadt 140 km südlich von Hurghada — osmanische Festung, ein Hafen, in dem noch gearbeitet wird, und das Nächste, was diese Küste an begehbarer Geschichte hat.

Marsa Alam
Der äußerste Süden — das beste Tauchen der Küste, das klarste Wasser, die längsten Transfers und in einer Bucht Dugongs, zu denen man vom Strand aus hinausschwimmen kann.
