Casa Cook El Gouna Adds 29 Swim-Up Junior Suites, Taking the Hotel to 129 Rooms

The hotel says the new Deluxe Swim-Up Junior Suites are finished and that refurbishment of its remaining rooms runs into 2027. It also says a weekly Wizz Air service from London Gatwick is set to start in January 2027, with Jet2 regional flights from the UK in February. Rooms start at 260 euros a night with breakfast.

Casa Cook El Gouna has unveiled 29 Deluxe Swim-Up Junior Suites, each with direct access to a semi-private pool, bringing the resort's total to 129 rooms and suites, the hotel said in an announcement carried by the hospitality trade outlet Hospitality Net.

The existing accommodation has also been upgraded, the hotel says, with the final refurbishments due to be completed in 2027. All suites and villas have direct pool access, from pools shared with a handful of neighbouring suites to private pools in the two-bedroom villas. Bathrooms now have marble finishes, and every room and suite has a dedicated workspace and a digital door screen with a "Do Not Disturb" function.

What has changed around the resort

  • The gym has almost doubled in size and has new equipment, and the spa pool has been renovated. The spa offers a hammam, steam room, plunge pool and two saunas.
  • The beach club and spa pools are heated over the winter months, so they can be used year round.
  • The entrance and beach club pool areas have been redesigned with new sun beds, bean bags and lounge seating.

The hotel also points to its recent inclusion in the 2026 MICHELIN Key selection, which it says places it among only 13 MICHELIN Key hotels in Egypt.

On sustainability, the announcement says Casa Cook El Gouna has held Green Key certification for a third consecutive year, holds Green Star status and runs an ongoing partnership with HEPCA, the Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association, covering staff training and regular beach clean-ups. BRITA water filtration systems have been installed across the property to cut single-use plastic bottles.

Getting there, and what it costs

The hotel, which it says is 30 minutes from Hurghada International Airport, states that a new weekly service from London Gatwick is set to launch in January 2027 with Wizz Air, alongside new regional flights from across the UK in February 2027 with Jet2. Both are described as planned rather than operating, and neither airline's own notice was available for this report.

Starting rates including breakfast begin at 260 euros a night depending on the booking period, according to the hotel. It is also offering 15% off stays of three nights or more until 28 December under a "Stay Longer & Save" offer; the announcement does not state the year for that deadline.
