Divers Call It the 'Coral Caves': Carlos Reef, Off Hurghada, Has Caves and Two Pinnacles
Youm7 has published a photo feature on Carlos Reef off Hurghada, one of the coast's better-known dive sites, named for the sea caves that earned it the nickname 'coral caves'.

Carlos Reef, in deep water off the Hurghada coast, is one of the Red Sea's best-known dive sites, according to a photo feature published by Youm7 on 10 October.
The reef draws professional and amateur divers from many countries, the outlet says, for coral formations and sea caves striking enough to have earned it the nickname "the coral caves". Youm7's pictures show the caves, two pinnacles rising from the reef, dense stands of coral and shoals of reef fish.
The feature is a gallery rather than a dive guide: it gives no depths, no boat times from Hurghada's marinas, no indication of the certification level the site demands and no operators. Divers planning a trip will need to get that from a local dive centre.
