The El Gouna Film Festival is setting out a new direction, with co-founder Amr Mansi announcing that it will run as a year-round cultural platform rather than as a single annual event, according to Egypt Today.
In separate reports from the same outlet, Andrew Mohsen revealed a record 10 Arab films in this edition's programme, along with an expanded CineGouna programme.
The actress Yousra praised the festival's global growth and celebrated Mona Zaki's creative achievement, Egypt Today also reports.
