Hurghada University has opened applications for places in its student dormitories for the 2026/2027 academic year, with the window opening on 28 August, according to Al-Watan, Ahram Gate and Youm7.
All three outlets carried the announcement on the same day and reported the same core fact: the university's residential halls — known in Egypt as the "university cities" — are now taking applications from students for the year ahead.
