The Red Sea governor has set a 90-day deadline for clearing the licensing obstacles that have held up the Marsa Alam Marina project, according to Ahram Gate.
Al-Bawaba News reported the same decision and framed it explicitly as a move to revive yacht tourism on the southern Red Sea coast, saying the outstanding permits are to be completed and work on the marina accelerated inside the three-month window. The Dar Al-Maaref news portal reported that the governor directed officials to finalise the project's stalled licences.
