Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View Opens as Hurghada's Newest Resort

Rixos Hotels Egypt has opened its second resort in Hurghada, named Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View, located in the city's Magawish Bay area, according to the trade outlet Travelling for Business.

The opening adds to Rixos's existing presence on the Red Sea coast and comes as international hotel groups continue to expand in Hurghada alongside a strong run of occupancy this summer — hotels across Hurghada and Marsa Alam have recently reported occupancy above 87%, with some Hurghada properties reporting record room rates topping EGP 22,000 a night in August.

The source did not report a room count, opening date, star rating, or whether the resort is open to bookings yet. Rixos has not issued its own statement confirming further details.

For travelers, a new premium property adds to Hurghada's growing high-end resort options in the Magawish area, a stretch of coastline south of the city center already home to several established hotels.
