Seasonal Flu Jabs Now Available at Five Red Sea Health Units, From Hurghada to Shalateen

The health affairs directorate of the Red Sea Governorate says the seasonal flu vaccine is now available through a number of health offices and units across the governorate, and has published the addresses, according to Youm7.

The vaccine is being offered at five named locations:

• Dahar health office in Hurghada, behind the general hospital
• Safaga El Balad family medicine unit, on Gomhouria Street
• Gharb health office in Ras Ghareb, behind the Gharb plants complex
• El Quseir health office, on Port Said Street behind El Sanousi Mosque
• Shalateen health unit in Shalateen, at the Hagar al-Asas area

The directorate said the sites are deliberately spread between health offices, family medicine units and health units so that residents of several of the governorate's towns can reach the service, including the cities in the far south.

For residents, that puts the jab within reach in Hurghada, Safaga, Ras Ghareb, El Quseir and Shalateen rather than only at a private clinic. Youm7's report does not say whether there is a charge, what the opening hours are, how long the vaccine will be available, or whether any age group or condition is being prioritised — those details are not in the announcement and would need checking at the unit itself.
