Find your listing
Search your business name, then use the “Claim this listing” button on its page. Not there at all? Tell us and we will add it.
What claiming gets you
- Your details, correct. Phone number, opening hours, the spelling of your own name, and a link to your website — which most listings do not have yet, because open map data rarely carries one.
- A say before anything changes. Once a listing is claimed and verified, we check with you before we change it. That is the actual point of claiming.
- A photograph of your place. Right now most listings show a graphic, because we will not put a stock beach photo on your business and imply it is a picture of you. Send us a real one and we will use it.
What it does not get you
A better position, favourable coverage, or a competitor removed. Listings are ordered alphabetically and by relevance, never by who paid — and nobody pays. If we report on your business one day, claiming a listing will not change what we write. Saying so up front is more useful to you than finding out later.
What we ask for
Your name, your role, and an email or phone number we can reach you on to check you are who you say you are. Everything else is optional. We do not publish your contact details — they stay with the desk. See privacy.
