Work is under way on a new recreational park for residents and families in Hurghada's Tourist Supplies area, the district known in Arabic as Mantiqat al-Mustalzamat al-Siyahiya.

The head of Hurghada city, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Gabr, inspected the construction. The work follows an instruction from Red Sea governor Walid El-Borgy to complete development and service projects quickly, according to Dar Al Maaref.

The reports also present the scheme as including five-a-side football pitches. No opening date has been given.
