Wizz Air is adding a London Gatwick–Hurghada route for the winter season, according to reports published on Thursday by the aviation trade outlets Airline Routes & Ground Services and Travel Gossip.
Travel Gossip describes Hurghada as the airline's second Egyptian destination from Gatwick.
The reports available to us do not give a start date, a frequency or fares, and we have not seen a schedule published by the airline itself.
For visitors travelling from southern England, the route would add a further direct option into Hurghada from a London airport.
