Absolute Hotel Services to Run New Sahl Hasheesh Hotel and Residences, Opening 2028

Sea View Development has signed a management and operation agreement with Absolute Hotel Services – Middle East & Africa, the regional operator of the U Hotels & Resorts brand, to run a new beachfront project in Sahl Hasheesh, Daily News Egypt reported on 5 July.

The agreement was signed by Sherif Roshdy, chairperson of Sea View Development, and Kevork Deldelian, managing director of Absolute Hotel Services – Middle East & Africa. Under it, U Hotels & Resorts will manage both the hotel and the residential components, with the flats operating as branded residences and the operator supplying housekeeping, security, facilities management and operational support.

Roshdy told Daily News Egypt the site covers 20,630 square metres and sits about 20 minutes from Hurghada International Airport and from the centre of Hurghada. He described a mix of studios, apartments, duplexes, villas and bungalows delivered fully finished, alongside landscaped open space, swimming pools and water features. Owners will be able to use their units themselves and place them in a professionally managed rental programme the rest of the year. Sea View Development is affiliated with Edar Fine & Home Co., which Roshdy said has worked in the Egyptian and international real estate markets since 2007.

In its own announcement on 30 June, Absolute Hotel Services said the property will hold 257 units — 68 hotel rooms and 189 branded residences — and is scheduled to open in 2028 with food and beverage outlets, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. Daily News Egypt put the unit count at 251.

Deldelian called it the company's third signing in Egypt and in the Middle East and Africa region, and its third U-branded property in the country.
