EgyptAir catering unit at Hurghada airport takes applications 6–16 November
EgyptAir In-Flight Services says it needs a driver technician and an electrician on fixed-term contracts, and asks applicants to use a computer rather than a mobile phone.
5 November 2026
EgyptAir In-Flight Services is accepting applications for two technician jobs at its catering unit at Hurghada International Airport from 6 to 16 November.
The company advertised the posts under announcement number 37 of 2026. The driver technician job requires a suitable qualification and a valid first-grade professional driving licence. The electrician job requires a suitable industrial qualification, a working knowledge of English and an age of no more than 30 at the start of the application period; the company said that post is on a shift system and open to men only. Both jobs are on fixed-term contracts.
Applications go through the company website, which it gave as hrs.egyptair-ifs.com. The company said applications are best submitted from a desktop computer rather than a personal mobile phone.
Applicants are asked for scanned copies of personal documents, including a birth certificate, a valid national ID card, their military service status and their qualification certificate. Driver technician applicants also need an experience certificate issued by the traffic department and the valid first-grade professional licence.
The company also set a condition that staff may not request a transfer out of the Hurghada airport catering unit, and said the contract would be treated as cancelled if an employee applied for one.
