The Russian Consulate General in Hurghada says it is suspending work and will not receive callers for four days from Wednesday 4 November. Consular services resume on Sunday 8 November 2026.

The consulate set out the dates in a notice to citizens and visitors: Wednesday 4 November is an official holiday, the suspension of callers continues through Saturday, and work and consular services start again on Sunday.

The closure falls on Unity Day, a Russian national holiday marked each year on 4 November.

The consulate asked anyone who needs consular services to take the holiday into account and to arrange visits around the resumption date.
