The Green Planet foundation has held a training day for women and young people from Bedouin tribes at Al-Radda village in the desert at Hurghada, covering handicraft skills, sustainable tourism and the preservation of Bedouin heritage.

Yousria Hamed, director of the Green Hurghada project, took part, along with representatives of the Red Sea Governorate's environment department and the Regional Tourism Activation Authority.

Mahmoud Attia, who heads Green Planet, said the training was meant to revive traditional Bedouin crafts and open a way for women and young people to turn their skills into income, supporting responsible tourism and the area's cultural identity. No date for the training, number of participants or further sessions was announced.
