EgyptAir Holding Company has announced two fixed-term technician posts at the catering unit of Hurghada International Airport, to be filled by its affiliate EgyptAir for Air Services under announcement number 37 of 2026.
The two posts are a driver technician and an electrical technician. Applications are made through the company's website between 6 and 16 November 2026, and the notice says applications submitted from a computer are preferred to those sent from a mobile phone.
Requirements differ by post:
- Driver technician: an intermediate or above-intermediate qualification, a valid first-class professional driving licence, and the experience record issued by the Traffic Department.
- Electrical technician: a suitable intermediate or above-intermediate industrial qualification and a knowledge of English, with experience in the field preferred and a maximum age of 30 when applications open.
The notice states that applications are open to men only and that the work is on a shift system. It also says no request to transfer out of the Hurghada catering unit will be accepted, and that the contract is considered terminated if such a request is made.
Applicants pay a non-refundable administrative fee of 100 pounds. Documents are produced later, on a date the company sets after the application window closes, and include a recent birth certificate, a valid national ID card, military service status and the educational qualification certificate; driver applicants also need the Traffic Department experience certificate and a valid first-class professional licence. The company says applications that do not meet the conditions, or that are not filed on the website within the window, will not be considered.
