Power cut from 6am to 9am Saturday in El Quseir, Marsa Alam and Berenice
The Red Sea electricity networks sector says transformers serving the two cities, Berenice and the tourist villages in their areas will be switched off for maintenance and washing.

Electricity will be switched off in El Quseir, Marsa Alam and the village of Berenice from 6am to 9am on Saturday for transformer maintenance, the Red Sea electricity networks sector has announced.
The cut covers the transformers serving the two cities and Berenice, which falls under Marsa Alam, along with the tourist villages inside their areas. The notice refers to the coming Saturday and describes Marsa Alam and Berenice as affected in full.
Crews are to use the three hours to maintain the transformer stations and wash the transformers.
Local units asked residents and business owners to make arrangements for the outage and to cooperate with the work so it keeps to schedule.
