Egypt's national measles and rubella vaccination campaign is being given at health units and schools in Hurghada, the Health Ministry's undersecretary for the Red Sea said.

Ismail El-Araby visited the Hurghada health office, the Port health unit and the Taha Hussein and Amr ibn al-As schools. He said he checked that the medical teams were keeping to schedule, that vaccines and supplies were in stock, and that the campaign's own procedures were being followed.

He also reviewed how many parents were bringing children forward.

El-Araby said the field visits and the coordination between medical teams and the health administrations would continue so that the vaccine reaches all the children the campaign targets.
