Marsa Alam International Airport has reduced the fees airlines pay for landing, parking and aircraft housing, in an initiative its administration says begins in early November 2026.
The administration says the new rates match the charges for similar services at other Egyptian airports, and that the aim is to lower operating costs for carriers and encourage more flights to Marsa Alam during the current winter season.
No figures, percentages or end date were published. The reductions apply to charges paid by airlines; the announcement makes no reference to ticket prices.
